How we publish statements
A published statement records a government's response. It does not necessarily indicate support for The Perth Agreement.
Governments may also write to us privately. Nothing is published without your permission.
Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) was informed of this invitation before it was sent to other governments. The Perth Agreement is a private initiative and has no Australian Government endorsement.
Our question to every nation
What would your nation bring to this endeavour? Share what has worked, what remains difficult, and what you would improve or approach differently in The Perth Agreement.
Verification
An official-looking address is a starting clue, not proof. Before we publish, we confirm the sender's authority and permission to publish through official contact details that we check independently.
Attribution
A statement is credited to the body that sent it. A ministry's statement is credited to that ministry, unless it is authorised to speak for the government.
Word for word
Statements are published exactly as received. We do not edit them.
Translations
The original is always shown first. Any translation is shown separately and labelled. If AI helped, the label says so.
Updates and withdrawals
A government can update or withdraw its statement. Each change is listed openly, with its date.
Scope
Statements are about food security and this proposal only.
Moderation
We do not edit statements. We do not publish abuse or threats.
Equal space
Every member state has the same page. We do not rank or compare countries.
