About the Perth Agreement
Hi world,
The Perth Agreement is a simple but powerful idea:
That every person alive today — and every child yet to be born — should know they will have at least one meal every day.
I am planting these seeds of hope.
Once this idea begins to grow, it will no longer belong to me.
It will belong equally to you — and to the world.
At its heart, the Perth Agreement recognises a basic human right: the guarantee of one nutritious meal every day, regardless of where you live or who you are.
It is not charity. It is dignity.
My hope is to bring the world’s major faiths and truth-seeking traditions together around this shared commitment.
I believe that when many voices unite behind a common goal, meaningful change can begin.
My hope is that Aboriginal Elders will host the initial signing in Perth.
Each participating faith and truth-seeking tradition will be invited to nominate two young representatives — always under the age of 25 — to help guide the early development of the Perth Agreement.
These representatives will form a council that always remains under the age of 25, ensuring the next generation has a direct voice in shaping the future it will inherit.
They will make decisions together and, where needed, draw on the best global thinkers and leaders to guide the Agreement toward its strongest possible outcome.
This is not a finished plan. It is an open invitation.
If this idea speaks to you, you are already part of it.
Transparency as a Core Principle
The Perth Agreement is built on openness and accountability.
Every transaction, every structural decision, and every major communication will be auditable and transparent.
Nothing will be done in the shadows.
The system is designed so that anyone, anywhere, can clearly see how it operates.
