The Perth Agreement

Communities & Organisations

Should every person on Earth, and every child yet to be born, be assured at least one nutritious meal every day?

The Perth Agreement. One meal. Every person. Every day.

An invitation to faith communities, humanists, First Nations peoples, humanitarian organisations and people of every belief — or none — to share their knowledge, experience and ideas.

Faiths and beliefs

Faith traditions and communities around the world have generations of experience helping people through hardship.

What have they learned? What works? What could we do better?

Every perspective is welcome, including questions, criticism and different approaches. Humanists and people of no religion are welcome here too.

Invitations are not endorsements. Every organisation is free to respond in its own words.

About these records

Two separate records appear on this page. They must not be added into one total.

  • Country map — lights when a local or national organisation for a tradition in that country has been emailed. Today that is Australia (from the Australia wave). Empty markers mean no such local invitation is recorded yet — not that a country was “sent” something and refused.
  • World bodies register — thirty international organisations on our scope list. We email published headquarters contacts. That is not the same as contacting every national branch, parish, or member community worldwide.
  • On the world-body list: 21 invitation emails delivered, 1 bounced (sent but not delivered), 8 not yet sent. Separately, 17 organisations were emailed in the Australia wave. Australia also appears on the map because those local invitations are recorded there. One world body on the international list is based in Australia; that HQ email is not double-counted into the Australia-wave total of 17.
  • Delivered: the invitation email arrived. Bounced: it was sent but did not arrive. Not yet invited: no invitation email has been sent to that body. Listing on the register alone is not an invitation. A reply is not support. Participation means ideas are published in that organisation’s name. Endorsement means a verified public statement of support with permission.

Countries with a local tradition invitation recorded (today: Australia). This is not a worldwide coverage claim. 30 world bodies on the headquarters invitation register; 21 invitation emails delivered; 1 bounced (sent; not delivered); 8 not yet sent an invitation email. Australia wave (separate): 17 organisations emailed

Delivered means an invitation email arrived. A reply is not support. Participating means ideas are published in that organisation's name. Endorsing means a verified public statement of support with permission.

A listing here speaks only for that organisation. It never means that a whole religion, belief or community has endorsed the Agreement. A community kitchen's practical knowledge is as welcome as a faith leader's moral voice.

Selected earlier replies

These cards are a small historic local set (Perth / Australia), kept for transparency. They are not the complete invitation register. Australian Red Cross (WA) is a humanitarian organisation, listed because of earlier correspondence, not as a faith body.

Invited 1 Nov 2026 to take part as a voice of people of no religious belief.

Its ideas will appear here when it publishes them.

Points on this map light up when an organisation publishes its ideas on the open record. A reply is not support for the Agreement.

Share ideas as an individual. Nobody needs an institution behind them to take part. Share your ideas in the Circle.

The three branches are ways into the conversation. They are not governing bodies. How the Agreement is led will be decided later by the people and groups who take part.

How we choose who to invite. We invite the main world religious and belief traditions and their major branches, at global, Australian and Perth level, plus interfaith networks, humanist, First Nations and humanitarian organisations. Any community may ask to take part: contact@theperthagreement.com.
