The First Class

The world you inherit will eventually become the world you create.

The future belongs to those who inherit it, whether they ask for it or not.

The Class of 2026 occupies a unique place in the story of The Perth Agreement.

The first conversations did not begin in government offices, boardrooms, or conference halls.

They began with students.

During these early conversations, I was encouraged to tell my story,

invited to share a meal, and welcomed to return.

Students asked questions.

Students challenged ideas.

Students demonstrated kindness, curiosity, openness, courage, and leadership.

Their actions reflected the values that The Perth Agreement hopes to encourage.

For that reason, all students of 2026 are recognised as the First Class of The Perth Agreement.
